I once met a guy who told me he was from the future. He then walked off, stood awkwardly at a distance from me for five minutes, then walked back and introduced himself to me as if we'd never met.
That's not really very relevant - in fact it's not at all relevant (let alone true) - but neither is this blog. It doesn't have any political agenda, nor is it a cynical take on popular culture, nor a chic fashion blog.
It's just my blog. My name is William Dalton - or 'John' on the internet - and I make things. Constantly. I can't stop myself, and I don't want to. My creativity is always making things through me, and I'm happy to let it do so for my whole life, and determined to make a living out of it. My real passions are design, art and photography, but I also dabble in typography, filmmaking and architecture.
See? Now we're getting to the relevant stuff. The stuff you want to know after reading all those crazy blog posts. Since you're interested (well you clicked the link, don't give me that look), I'm a 16-year-old student from a London suburb and desperately trying to find my style - or better yet, people who like it. I'm studying art, design, English and maths at A-level, and hope to do what I love at university, be it architecture, design or art.
Now we've got the essentials out of the way, please look through my blog and maybe appreciate it, because I put a lot of work into it (well maybe not the earlier posts). To browse the best of my 365-project last year, check out the Crap Filter. If you're more interested in my work, here's my portfolio and here's my Flickr account. If you want to hear more from me (ahahahahaha) please follow me on Twitter or email me. Other than that, enjoy the blog!
